Bonding With Your Bike
bikers and pedestrians rejoice! The Frankfort Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites Dept has put together an impressive events schedule for the inaugural 2011 season of the Frankfort Families Great Outdoors Club.
Come "dare to be an outsider" with your friends and neighbors at their first event: a fun group walk starting at 10am this coming Saturday, January 22 at Cove Spring Park. These events will no doubt be great news for anyone who has been missing the monthly Walk/Bike events since the Outreach Committee switched gears in October.
On Saturday April 23, we'll be hosting a "Bonding With Your Bike" event at the Folkbike ReCyclery, teaching basic bicycle maintainence and repair. It's scheduled to start at 10:00am and should last 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
