Folkbike and Team Kolaya: A Winning Combination!
The Folkbike Recyclery is pleased to announce that we are the official bike shop for Ashley Kolaya, as she prepares for the Revolution 3 triathlon. Ashley is no ordinary girl, and she isn't participating for an ordinary triathlon.
Ashley has joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team in Training. LLS is a non-profit organization that works to cure blood cancers and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. It is rated as one of the top ten charities for having the highest percentage of funds raised that directly benefit research and patient services. Team in Training (TNT) is the chief way the LLS raises those funds. Through TNT, participants like Ashley agree to raise money for the mission.
Her goal is to complete the Revolution3 Triathlon (.9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run) on May 15 in Knoxville, TN and to raise $3,000 for LLS.
